Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of Liso — the Liso app and website — operated by Liso ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Liso, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Liso.

1. Who can use Liso

You must be at least 13 years old to use Liso. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

• Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date.
• Keep your email account secure. Liso signs you in with one-time codes sent to your email address, so anyone with access to your email can access your Liso account.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at info@mylisoapp.com if you think someone else is using it.
• One account works in the app and on the website.

3. The service and its content

Liso provides faith-based study plans and related content. The content is for your personal, non-commercial use. It belongs to Liso or its licensors, including Rhapsody of Realities. You may not copy, sell, redistribute or publish it without permission. We may add, change or remove plans and features at any time.

4. Not professional advice

Some plans deal with subjects such as anxiety, depression, grief or illness. Liso's content is for spiritual encouragement and education. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you are in crisis or need professional help, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

5. Subscriptions and payments

What a subscription gives you

Some plans are free. A subscription unlocks more plans: Daylight gives the first 3 plans in each category, Growth the first 10, and Full Access every plan. The benefits of each tier are those shown when you subscribe. Plans you bought individually before remain yours.

Subscribing on the website

• Website payments are processed by Paystack.
• A monthly subscription lasts 30 days and an annual subscription lasts one year from the date you pay.
• Website subscriptions do not renew automatically. To keep your access, subscribe again before it ends.
• Prices are shown in US dollars and charged in Nigerian naira at the exchange rate shown when you pay.
• Buying the same tier again adds the time to your current subscription. You can upgrade to a higher tier; the new tier starts when you pay. You cannot buy a lower tier while a higher one is active.
• A subscription bought in the app is managed in the app.

Subscribing in the app

• App subscriptions are sold through Google Play or the App Store, under their terms.
• They renew automatically until you cancel them in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Deleting your Liso account does not cancel a store subscription.

Refunds

If you were charged but did not get access, or were charged twice, email info@mylisoapp.com with your payment reference and we will give you access or refund you. Otherwise, website payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund. Refunds for purchases made in the app are handled by Google Play or Apple under their own policies.

Price changes

We may change our prices. A price change does not affect time you have already paid for. For app subscriptions, the store will tell you about price changes as its rules require.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or use Liso to harm others;
• access another person's account;
• obtain access you have not paid for, including by tampering with the app, the website or the requests they send;
• copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or disrupt the service;
• store unlawful or abusive material in your notes or prayer requests.

7. Your content

Your notes and prayer requests remain yours. You allow us to store and process them to provide Liso to you. We do not publish them.

8. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses Liso, including by obtaining access without paying. You can stop using Liso and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers

Liso is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Liso after a change, the updated terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America.
